Currently the shortcut to start voice transcription only provides cmd, opt, ctrl, and left option as shortcuts. It would be great to be able to set this to any custom key command since modifiers are used on there own a lot else where for shortcuts.

When I unlock the laptop (14” M5 MacBook Pro) the app has the unlock icon showing. Until I increase, or decrease volume or increase or decrease brightness the only thing whoring on the seam app just keep on showing the unlock icon. Once the brightness or volume is done I can then see the weather or calendar.

There is an application called Codeburn or CodexBar (written by the same dude who wrote OpenClaw) that do all the heavy lifting on all the different harnesses and burn rates etc… but its just another thing to add to the menu bar, would be cool if they were in seam. They open-source anyways.

When this option turns off, the notch should only hide on the monitor that is showing app in full screen. Other monitors not showing full screen should continue to show the notch.

In my recent post about the AirPods connection bug and phone calls, I believe Apple’s automatic AirPods transition from devices detects Seam as a genuine audio output application. This forces it to connect immediately. I’ve noticed this behaviour ever since I started reopening my laptop from sleep mode.  It instantly connects my AirPods straight away even though I’m listening to music on my iPhone. To Recreate this issue: Ensure your mac is “asleep” Play some music on your iphone/ipad or other devices other than the Mac with Seam. Open your mac and it will connect it straightaway.

Currently, when I play audio on Spotify etc, the app very very rarely actually shows what is playing, and the ‘show now playing’ feature appears to be removed from the drop down menu. But everything else is great!

The weather isn’t updating properly with the current time. For example, right now, it is 6PM but the weather in the notch is showing the temperature/conditions as if it was 12PM. This doesn’t happen regularly, but it happens enough for it to be inconsistent and misleading, especially when I’m just viewing the weather at a glance instead of expanding it. Quit+relaunch fixes it but I don’t want to have to do that repeatedly. Would be nice for it to automatically show the weather based on the current time reliably.

I assigned right control key as hold to record. But if I just press the key (without holding), it continues to record. I have to press the key again to stop recording. Hold record should stop recording as soon as the key is released.
